Sweet Patato Quiche | Keto & Gluten-Free

admin · December 12, 2024 · Leave a Comment

Hello people! Today we are going to make a quiche, gluten free. With a sweet potato base and lots of tasty things in it. We start with a recipe from this website and then we will make some adjustments to our taste and see what comes out of the oven. So yes, we are going to for it First we are going to cut the onion Small note, we halve the recipe Today we use 6 eggs, a bundle of spinach A small onion 340 grams of sweet potato fries, about half of a large 1 ‘cup’ feta cheese (about 120 g) Half a ‘cup’ of Greek Yoghurt (about 240g) Olive oil and salt and pepper Let’s peel the sweet fries We are going for cubes of 1 to 1.5 cm in size a little bit of salt Until nicely caramelized At the moment we are the sweet fries They’re starting to look nice and caramelized Nicely toasted on the outside So I’m using this pan instead of a large springform pan because we’re halving the recipe and it looks a bit looks better I don’t know if this is correct but I am pressing gently, as it says in the recipe but they are quite stubborn so we will see what happens there are still gaps Ok, we are going to use something heavier than the back of a spoon because we have to try to make a crust we are going to start mashing And now is a good time to preheat the oven to 300°F or 150°C In the meantime we are going to fry our onions We want them soft but not browned In the dish says: 3 tablespoons of olive oil but I’m just going to guess here.

So in this dish on this website, kale is used. But to be honest, I am not a fan of kale. I prefer to use spinach because spinach is also extremely nutritious and much tastier and because I had frozen spinach from the garden and I just thawed it instead of cooking it with the onion because frozen spinach always has some liquid that you want to drain so I will add it to the last moment I’m going to put the onions on a low heat otherwise they will start to brown and we don’t want that here, in the meantime we have mashed the sweet potato fries. We are now going… Oh, the oven is preheated. Anyway, we are going to put the baking paper use with our dish because I always prefer it in case it sticks to the bottom you can still take it out of the pan if you use baking paper Ok, let’s do it Honestly, I prefer to wash my hands and then with the to shake hands because you can really feel what’s happening and anyway, it’s fun to use your hands.

The onions look ready too. They look almost transparent and then they’re also soft. We’re going to cut a little around the paper. So Now we are going to add the spinach to the onion. Mix it together nicely. Mix the flavors. We are going to add a little salt. Beautiful! Now we’re going to mix the rest of the ingredients. Our eggs. The yogurt and the cheese. We’re going to beat them with a beater. So these are very good eggs from my friend, Mr. Don. Actually, these are eggs from the chicken that I stole in this music video. (Iink in the description) Right how, first we’re going to beat the eggs I’m going to add our yogurt Now time for… so this is goat cheese with herbs in it, so it always has a good taste and goat cheese is therefore easier to digest than regular cheese the So baby goat is a smaller animal so the baby goat needs less intense milk than baby cows.

That’s right, this is nicely whipped. So now we’re going to put half of our mixture in our pan and pour in the other mixture. This is starting to look really nice. to see Now the rest of our spinach with onion And just for the sake of appearance I’m going to sprinkle a little paprika powder on it so that we have red, yellow, green It’s always a nice combination with food Ok, so there is a choice before I put it in the oven puts, Some people in the comments said that it is better to pre-fry the sweet potato fries first to get it more crispy I haven’t tried it yet so I’m just going to follow the recipe here and later I will comment on whether it is a good idea to First put the base in the oven for a while to get a crispier crust.

Anyway, we’re going to put it in the oven and in the meantime we’re going to do some dishes. See you later! It’s been in there for about 20 minutes now Because we’re halving the recipe it won’t take 55 minutes like the recipe so we’re just going to stick with it Ok folks, it’s been in there for 45 minutes now It looks baked The outside is starting to rise so time to take it out Ok folks, so here it is fresh from the oven We’re going to let it cool down for a bit before we can start cutting but everything looks nice and delicious So here the quiche has cooled down So it looks like the sweet fries became part of the quiche It’s not really crispy because it looks quite flexible So yeah, let’s cut one open Ok folks, time to taste test Let’s just go for it.

Lots of flavor I think it’s very tasty with the goat cheese And yes, the sweet potato fries didn’t really make a crust It’s more part of the quiche, like a layer Not like crust, and then the contents So it has almost z’ my own style The taste is very good If you want it more crispy, I would put it separately in the oven first, but I do like this flavor The sweet fries are still nice and juicy Yes, I think it’s very good Anyway , if you want to try it yourself, leave something Let me know in the comment below how you did it differently or how you would have done it differently If you have any tips for myself Let me know, we are all here to learn.

Let’s share with the family and see what happens Baby Approved! I hope you enjoyed the video and see you next time!.
