Ingredients:
1/2 cup of spinach
1/2 cup (approximately) of milk or water
1/2 cup of gluten-free yogurt
1/2 cup of Fresh or thawed strawberries
One banana
1/8 cup of flax seeds, freshly ground
1 scoop of gluten-free protein powder (optional)
Instructions:
You will need a blender. Blend the spinach and milk or water together. Then add the strawberries and yogurt, and blend them. Then add the banana, cut up into pieces, and blend it. Add freshly ground flax seed (never grind flax ahead of time as the oil can go rancid), and protein powder (optional).
Note: If the blender is stalling, this means you should add more liquid.
Tip: You can freeze a whole bag of spinach, and take out the required amount each time you make a smoothie.
