hi there and welcome back to pinch of cooking
today we're making maple roasted Delicata squash it's probably one of the most delicious
and tender variety of a winter squash it has a sweet buttery texture that lends itself
beautifully to roasting once you try it you will understand why all the fancy restaurants
have it on their menu this time of the year and as everything on my channel this recipe is
super easy and requires very few ingredients make sure your squash is clean we will
be eating the squash with the skin on slice off the rough ends cut the squash lengthwise and scoop out the seeds and all the fibers cut the squashes into half moons
it is easier to cut from the inside out and your slices
should be about this thick once your slices are ready
let's season them with salt cinnamon or pumpkin spice and about two tablespoons of olive oil and about one to two tablespoons of maple syrup
as you can see i'm just adding things by eye give everything a really good mix to make sure
all the squashes are evenly coated in seasoning slightly oil your baking sheet lay out
your pieces so they don't touch each other and we will bake it for about 30 minutes at 400 degrees fahrenheit which is same thing as 200
degrees celsius they are going to be ready when the half moons are soft and just beginning
to brown serve them immediately and enjoy ! thank you so much for watching and hit like and
